血流力学と生体伝熱

　本研究の課題は熱工学の分野で発展してきた移動現象論の手法を用いて、生体における熱物質の移動現象について研究することである。現在取り組んでいる研究テーマは二つある。
1. 人体上肢の熱物質輸送モデルの開発
2. レーザー照射における腫瘍組織の血流と酸素分布に関する研究
　血液の流れは生体組織に重要な役割を果たす。そのため、計算モデルには血管のモデリングについて次のように考えられる：一次元血管モデルに基づいて上肢循環系の大きい血管ネットワークをモデリングする。組織における微小血管の血液流れは多孔質の流体相あるいはPennes生体伝熱方程式の灌流率で表す。骨や筋肉や皮膚などの組織における熱輸送は多孔質の固体相あるいはPennes方程式で表す。形状モデルは医療MRIの連続断面画像から実形状を抽出し、構築される。
　有限差分法と有限要素法が用いられ、血流モデルと組織輸送モデルに対して解析を行う。得られた解析結果は各血管の血圧、血流量、組織における血流量、温度と酸素分布である。人体上肢輸送モデルの開発の研究は現段階では指部分だけと対象しており、今後には、上肢全体のモデルに展開し、様々な状況を解析できるように進めていくつもりである。一方がん治療法の研究については、動物実験と結合して、実際の腫瘍血管に対して解析を行うと試みたい。
　将来の応用としては上肢の薬物輸送シミュレーターや人工義手の開発やがん治療法の効率向上などと考えられる。
